We Make Events: On September 1st, 2020, #WeMakeEvents, a coalition of trade bodies, businesses, unions, and live events workers, will light up their venues, homes, and cities red in over 1,500 locations across North America to raise public and media awareness in support of the live events sector.
The ILL CLAN: Paul “Ill Robinson” Marino, Frank “ILL Bixby” Dellario, Manu “ILL Smith” Smith joined us through discord on the show to give us behind the scenes view on the making of Apartment Huntin’ and Hardly Workin’. We talk about some of the technical aspects and challenges of making these machinima shorts.
NVidia RTX 30 Series: NVidia released their announcement video today introducing their upcoming 3000 series graphics cards. We discussed all of the new RTX AI driven features including the NVIDIA Omniverse Machinima.

I would like to thank The ILL CLAN members for joining us on the show. It really was a magical night for us to be able to look back and get a behind the scenes look at their quake machinima work. Here is hoping that NVidia can revive the medium, as it has taken a small dive in popularity in the past few years, with their upcoming Omniverse Machinima. With all of the interest in classic games, we can hop that this will lead to new machinima in these old format.
