NERD CAVE SHOW 20210907 ~ NCS Live at Heros Fest
On Saturday September 9th, AudioCraZ and Beard & Gary took a fun 2 hour drive to Fresno to be apart of Heros Fest 2021 held at Heros Comics. Heros Fest is an event put on by Project Wish Upon A Star, a charity that aims to “make dreams come true for kids with cancer and other illnesses.” Our original plan was to record for several hours during the day. We were placed close to the stage, but no matter, we found a few opportunities to get some recording done as well as sit down with George the Giant, and Tim Munsey.

We had planned on getting several hours of recording throughout the day. Due to the area locations for power, we were placed pretty close to the stage and the PA. This gave a unique challenge, as we would wait for a break, and watch closely to judge if the break would be short or long enough to get some recording in. In the end we were able to get two interviews recorded. At the end of the day, we had a blast catching up with old friends, meeting a lot of new friends, and being utterly exhausted from the heat and excitement. We are anxiously looking forward to the next event.
Just a few more tweaks to the audio equipment to make it more portable….
